From the farm: the date harvest

The date harvest in Al Dhaid starts as the summer heat peaks. Members cut the bunches in the early morning and bring them to the intake point, where each delivery is weighed and booked to the member and their batch.

After grading, the dates are packed and every pack is labelled with its weight, batch and farm. That is how a buyer knows where their dates came from, and how a member knows what of their harvest has sold.
